Our fees begin at 1% of assets under management (AUM)
Our fees decline as your assets increase.
Winged Wealth will perform investment management for comprehensive financial planning clients. Our fees begin at 1% of assets under management (AUM) and decline as your assets increase. Depending on your current assets, the AUM fee will be inclusive of the comprehensive financial planning fee. We do not perform investment management as a discrete service because we do not believe we can best serve you without integrating investment planning into all aspects of your financial life.
- This service includes our comprehensive financial planning and may require that you transfer custodianship of your non-employer assets (e.g. TSP, 401(k)) to our custodian. Winged Wealth does not take custody of any client funds at any time beyond fees paid directly as agreed compensation.
- Winged Wealth requires discretionary authority to execute transactions on your behalf, but as a matter of practice will generally consult with you prior to any non-routine transactions. For example, if a tax-loss harvesting opportunity arises, and your investment policy statement seeks tax-loss harvesting opportunities, then Winged Wealth may execute such transactions if they are in your best interest considering all aspects of your financial plan. Winged Wealth will never accept or receive commissions or other compensation for executing transactions on your accounts.
- Example pricing for Investment Management might look like:
- $500,000 in your managed accounts at 1% AUM is $5,000 for the year, billed quarterly in arrears. If the complexity of your ongoing Comprehensive Financial Planning would drive a $300 per month fee or $3,600 per year, then you would pay $5,000 and receive Comprehensive Financial Planning inclusive of ongoing Investment Management.
- $90,000 in your managed accounts at 1% AUM is $900. If the complexity of your ongoing Comprehensive Financial Planning would drive a $175 per month fee or $2,100, then your Investment Management fee would be on top of your monthly fee for an annual total of $3,000.
- Note that when Winged Wealth uses an outside investment manager, their fees will be included in Winged Wealth’s fee so that you won’t have unexpected costs.
